Clean Car Seat Co.— Service Agreement & Liability Waiver
(A.K.A. the “Keep‑It‑Clean Contract”)
Our Mission: To banish the crumbs, spills, and mysterious sticky spots from the very throne that carries your most precious cargo — all while keeping things safe, simple, and a little bit fun.
1. The VIPs (Parties)
Clean Car Seat Co. (“CCC,” “we,” or “us”) and the undersigned parent or legal guardian (“you” or “Client”). Collectively, “the Parties.”
2. The Service (What We Do)
• Deep‑clean, spot‑treat, and sanitize the child restraint(s) using baby‑safe, non‑toxic products.
• Air‑dry all removable fabrics and wipe hard surfaces.
• Package the seat for easy, mess‑free delivery.
3. Your Part (What You Do)
- Hand us a seat that is not expired, recalled, or damaged from a crash.
- Remove all toys, aftermarket accessories, and any explosive graham‑cracker stashes.
- Accept delivery of your fresh‑and‑so‑clean seat within previously arranged timeframe, unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
- Reinstall the seat per the manufacturer’s instructions (or have a CPST check it) before transporting a child.
4. The Fine Print — Assumption of Risk & Waiver
By CHECKING THE BOX, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Cleaning requires disassembly of covers, buckles, and straps. Minor wear (e.g., fading, pilling, pulled threads) or stubborn stains may remain despite our best effort.
• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with continued use of the seat, including correct re‑assembly and installation.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive, release, and forever discharge CCC, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or connected to our cleaning service, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• You agree to indemnify and hold CCC harmless against claims brought by third parties (including sleepy passengers) relating to your seat’s condition or installation after it leaves our workspace.
5. Limitation of Liability
In any event, CCC’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific cleaning service giving rise to a claim. No consequential, incidental, or special damages. (Translation: If things go sideways, the most we owe you is a refund of today’s cleaning fee.)
Note: 100% Happiness Guarantee- We’re not happy unless you’re over-the-moon happy! If you’re not totally in love with our service, let us know—we’ll make it right with a smile. Pinky promise!
6. Fees, Payment & Cancellations
• Payment is due prior to pick-up unless we’ve high‑fived on something different in writing.
• Need to cancel or reschedule? No worries—just give us 24‑hours’ notice so we can open the slot for another crumb‑covered seat.
7. Pics or It Didn’t Happen (Media Release)
We may snap before‑and‑after photos of epic messes (sans personal info) to showcase our cleaning wizardry on social media or marketing materials.
8. Force Majeure (Because Life Happens)
If an unforeseen event (think power outage, zombie apocalypse, or snowstorm of the century) delays service, both Parties get a free pass until conditions let us resume.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute we can’t settle over coffee will be resolved in small‑claims or state court located in Ottawa County, MI.
10. Whole‑Enchilada Clause
This document is the entire agreement between us. Changes must be in writing and signed by both Parties. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest still rides along happily.
11. ACCEPTING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I’ve read, understood, and agree to the terms above — and I can’t wait to give my kiddo a first‑class, crumb‑free ride! BY CHECKING THE BOX YOUR ARE HEREBY ACCEPTING ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS DESCRIBED IN THIS CCC SERVICE AGREEMENT.
